At the heart of the performance is a young woman who affirms her emotional belonging to Latgale and tells, through her own eyes, the story of a traditional work gathering (talka) taking place in her family homestead. The performance is based on Latgalian folklore materials and real-life stories, therefore the language of the performance is Latgalian.

The performance features the University of Latvia Dance Ensemble “Pērle” and 13 musicians, including the musical collective “Upes muzikanti,” the group “Rūžupis veiri,” and Trio “Bille.”
